Sledging is the core part when Indian National Cricket Team and Australia play against each other. In the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series, something similar happened on day three of the second Test played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Both the skipper, Virat Kohli, and Tim Paine were spotted sharing some war of words in the final over of the day when the latter was batting. However, former Australian cricketer Michael Hussy is not at all impressed with Kohli’s attitude on the field.

“If he messes it up, it’s 2-0,” Kohli said, which was picked up by the microphone. The incident happened after he and his teammates made a caught-behind appeal for Paine in the final over of the day.

Moreover, Virat Kohli was spotted at his animated best during the third day of play. He made an awful reaction looking at the crowd after Shaun Marsh got out of Mohammad Shami’s delivery. This has made former Australian batsman Hussey unhappy with Kohli’s attitude.

“Kohli is out of control … I don’t like his attitude at the moment,” Michael Hussey was quoted as saying by Macquarie Sports Radio.

On the other hand, former Australian great Alan Border told that he hasn’t witnessed any captain carry on like the way Kohli did.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen any captain carry on like that.” former captain Border told Fox Cricket.

Meanwhile, the hosts had taken a lead of 175 runs at the end of day three. After winning the toss, Australia put up 326 runs on the board. However, the visitors managed to score 283 runs in the first essay. Virat Kohli played an excellent knock scoring 123 runs while Ajinkya Rahane also added some vital 51 runs in the middle. However, Kohli smashed a stunning century to bring up his 25th Test ton.

“I thought we were well off in the first innings of this game, so to bowl India out for 283 was a pretty good effort especially when you’ve got someone who scores a big hundred.” Nathan Lyon said.
