Virat Kohli led team India secured the series in Indore at the Holkar stadium on Sunday (24th September) with a five-wicket win.

Steve Smith won the toss for the first time on this tour and elected to bat first on a batting paradise which previously saw the Nawab of Najafgarh, Virender Sehwag smashes 219 runs in an ODI innings against West Indies.  The visitors were off to a flying start and at one stage were all set for big first innings score.

The hat-trick man from the second ODI gave Men in Blue a big breakthrough when he picked up the lone centurion of the match, Aaron Finch. The visitors still had a lot of fire-power left but they could not able to capitalize on the start given by the top order.

The Australian team was restricted to only 293 after Indian bowlers scripted an epic comeback. Chasing a target of 294, opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane gave India a perfect platform to seal the series with two more matches to go.

Hat-trick of half-centuries by Rohit, Rahane and Pandya gave the hosts another easy win and put them on top of the ICC ODI rankings, as they dethroned South Africa from the top.

Meanwhile, Australian Cricket Podcaster, Dennis Friedman who recently during the World XI’s tour of Pakistan took a dig at Indian skipper Virat Kohli by posting an image of him with a broom in his hand took his jokes to a new low, as he disrespected the Indian national flag with an inappropriate tweet.

Here’s the tweet which is going viral on social media:
