The cheater WAGs: WAGs cheating on their spouse to date their teammates

Love is a beautiful feeling. It changes people in different ways. Finding one’s partner perfect is a job and if that guy is a sportsman that the world loves, it is a dream come true. But there have been stories that proved to be more of a disaster than a dream. Here are some stories of WAGs who cheated on their partners with their own team-mates.

5. Mesut Ozil-Melanie Rickinger-Christian Lell

The ravishing model is in the number 5 spot in this article for all the wrongs. She was happily dating former Bayern Munich defender Chistian Lell while she came closer to Ozil. They exchanged numbers and their flirtatous chat over Whatsapp caused separation of the model with Lell. In a way, the Arsenal mastermind Ozil was also cheating as he was in a relation with Mandy Capristo. Neither of them accepted the accusations and the relation was never flourished afterwards.

4. Kevin de Bruyne- Caroline Lijnen- Thibaut Courtois

The next cheat-sheet comes from the Belgium National Team as Bruyne’s girlfriend Caroline Lijnen admitted of cheating on her boyfriend with his teammate and Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois. Lijnen claimed that Bruyne had cheated her with her best friend first and though they still held the relation, nothing was working as before between them. In the mean-time she met Courtois in Madrid and the heavyweight goalkeeper promptly made her go weak in the knees by taking her out for dine and wine. As she was already messed up with her boyfriend cheating her earlier, if hers is to be believed, she dated Courtois. The players later got together well and are heard of taking this episode as a joke !

3. Upul Tharanga- Nilanka Vithanage- Tilakaratne Dilshan

The Lankan lions acquire the third spot as it is a story of the legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Tilakaratne Dilshan. Dildhan was married to Nilanka Vithanage and there was no news of problems between the two untill she met her hubby’s teammate Upul Tharanga. They are said to have a relation due to which Dilshan and Nilanka separated. Dilshan was entirely shattered after knowing the entire episode. He later got married to Manjula Thilini.

2. John Terry- Vanessa Perroncel- Wayne Bridge

The English football team ranked second in the list as two if their members John Terry and Wayne Bridge share this love triangle with Vanessa Perroncel. Vanessa, the girlfriend of Wayne Bridge, was reportedly ‘lonely and sad’ and was seduced by Terry. Things went so bad that to protect his image, Terry went on to offer money to Vanessa for not leaking about their secret affair. The stories came out when Vaness’s friends decided not to keep their mouth shut.

But the number one spot goes to the Indian cricket stars Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay. Both used to be very good friends as they were teammates during their first class days. But things went the other way round while during IPL Nikita met Vijay. Nikita and Karthik were married since 2007 but in the year 2012, Nikita became close to Vijay and eventually the marriage resulted in divorce. Nikita was pregnant during the time and Karthik was stressed of the matter so much he never looked back. He later got engaged to Squash star Dipika Pallikal.
