Chris Lynn will not need a surgery for the injured shoulder which he suffered a few days back.

His manager, Stephen Atkinson confirmed the news,

“Chris got a positive result from the doctors who said he will not need surgery. Chris is disappointed at missing the Pakistan Super League but he will be making every effort to play in the Indian Premier League and, if selected, the five one-dayers for Australia in England in June,” he said, according to a News Corp report.

Chris Lynn suffered a shoulder injury during the final of the Trans-Tasman final against New Zealand.

He dived to take a catch and in the process, injured his shoulder.

He has already had a number of injuries on his shoulder and the blow added to it.

The dive turned out to be a dislocated shoulder, which has already ruled him out of the Pakistan Super League.

Lynn is sweating over his fitness to be part of Indian Premier League (IPL).

He was purchased for a huge amount of Rs 9.60 Crore by the Kolkata Knight Riders, and he would lose out on the money if he doesn’t play IPL.

However, the player is hopeful of making it to the league.

It was a surprise to see the franchise going behind Lynn in the auction, keeping his injury list in mind.

Probably, that was the reason why KKR decided not to retain Lynn ahead of the auction as they would have a thought that other franchises might not go behind him and they (KKR) would get him at a low price.

In the auction, Lynn again turned out to be a star, and KKR had to pay big bucks.

They did not let go their player.

KKR are in desperate need of Lynn as he seems to be part of a bigger plan for the team.

Last year too, the franchise did not let him go even when he was injured right in the third game of the season.

The team management waited for Lynn to get fit and it was only after a month when he played his next game.

Scans this week will confirm Lynn’s participation in IPL 2018.

The tournament is still one and a half month away and surely; the right-handed batsman would get fit.
