Harbhajan Singh Opens Up About What Scares him the Most

The veteran India cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, who over the years had the been the nemesis of the batsmen, says travelling on an aircraft scares him the most. Meanwhile, the off-spinner has recently talked about his fears and how he had been dealing with them over the years. On a recent television show – ‘No Filter Neha’ Harbhajan revealed his phobia of sitting in a plane, and that it has considerably come down with time. Also, he said getting into a lift keeps his heartbeat going strong as well.

“I have a phobia of travelling in a flight, am scared of it. Now it has reduced considerably. I also have a phobia of getting into a lift. What if it stops and I am stranded alone,” Bhajji explained.

In addition to, Harbhajan Singh also opened up a lot of things on the show. The India spinner further explained some instances of his marriage with Geeta Basra. The veteran revealed he met Geeta for the first time after the 2011 World Cup and how their love story unfolded. Harbhajan also talked about why he didn’t like swing, and he would never sit on one.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh is currently not playing any international cricket for India. He had also pulled out of the domestic circuit for his state – Punjab in the Ranji Trophy 2018/19. Moreover, his last appearances for India came in an ODI game against South Africa in October 2015. Since then, the offie remained sidelined because of his poor form and lack of fitness and didn’t get another chance to prove it wrong.

Harbhajan to play for CSK in IPL 2019

Furthermore, Harbhajan will be seen playing in the twelveth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Earlier in 2018 IPL auctions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bagged his services from Mumbai Indians, and the spinner, in his first season helped the franchise lift the trophy for record third time. Now, the side has retained him for the twelfth edition, which begins in March.

However, in a career spanning more than a decade, Harbhajan Singh has 417 wickets in Tests, 269 in ODIs and 25 in T20Is.
