Afghanistan, who almost pulled out a stunner against India, will look for their first win of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 when they take on Bangladesh at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

Afghanistan look for their first win

Afghanistan produced a scintillating effort before going down against India by 11 runs on Saturday. They will take a lot of self-belief and confidence in their next game against Bangladesh at Southampton. The spinners were right on the money, and Gulbadin Naib will expect his spinners to be on their top against the in-form Bangladesh batsmen. The onus, however, will be on the batters to play big knocks and post good scores on the board.

The former Afghanistan skipper needs to shoulder the responsibility and lead their batting unit from the front in the middle order. He has the experience behind his back and needs to raise his game at this biggest stage.
