India vs Australia 1st T20I: Twitter Reacts As Hosts Destroy David Warner & Co. Before Rain Halts Play

With the Indian bowlers running riot in the first T20 International at Ranchi, rain gods interrupted their flow as only 18.4 overs was possible before the players were asked to leave the field. The visitors were reeling at 118 for 8 when rain saved them from further embarrassment.

Virat Kohli‘s decision to bat first turned out to be spot on as Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed the in-form David Warner for just 8. An aggressive batting display from Aaron Finch helped the team from Down Under to race to 49 for 1 in six overs but the floodgates opened when Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Glenn Maxwell for the fourth time on this tour.

Australia’s middle-order faltered once again as Travis Head, Moises Henriques and Dan Christian departed for single-digit scores. The visitors kept on losing wickets at regular intervals, huffing and puffing to 118 for 8 before rain halted the game.
