The second T20 International between India and Australia at Guwahati was completed without any rain disruption but the upcoming third and final game is likely to be affected by rain.

Rain had marred the series-opener in Ranchi and the weather forecast for Friday (October)] 13) when the match will be played in Hyderabad is not looking promising either. The meteorological department has stated there is a possibility of thunderstorm on the match day and also predicted that the city may be lashed by rain all through the day.

There is a prediction that rain will be around 40 per cent chances of rain from 1 p.m. till 6 p.m. which means that match, scheduled to start at 6.50 p.m. might get delayed.

There is also a chance that the game might by curtailed or not played at all as there is a prediction of 34 per cent rain after 6 and it goes  up to 37 per cent at 9 p.m. to 47 and 51 per cent at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. (IST) respectively.

Meanwhile, rain will be the last thing the fans as well as the players will be hoping on Friday. The series is set for an exciting finish after the visitors bounced back from the defeat in Ranchi to thrash India in the second game and level the series. Australia lost the series-opener by 9 wickets (DLS method) but squared the series in style, comprehensively beating the high-flying hosts by 8 wickets in Guwahati.

Batting first, India were rocked by Jason Behrendorff‘s 4-wicket haul and were all out for a paltry 118. In reply, Australia were off to a poor start, losing both their openers cheaply but an unbeaten 109-run stand between Moises Henriques and Travis Head took them comfortably in the end.
