India vs Windies 2018: Twitter Reacts as KL Rahul Flops in Rajkot

Again, the classy Karnataka batsman, KL Rahul stood on the wrong side of the things in the first Test of India vs Windies 2018 in Rajkot. The right-hander once again got troubled with the incoming delivery thus walking back to the hut at the earliest in the first over.

It was expected that KL Rahul would be at his best in the series, especially, after the stunning century in the fifth Test against England at The Kennington Oval. However, it wasn’t the case for the batsman.

Kl Rahul registers duck in the first Test of India vs Windies 2018:

Initially, it was Virat Kohli, who won the toss and asked the visitors to bowl first. The confident duo of Prithvi Shaw and KL Rahul walked to the middle while Windies captain handed Gabriel the new ball.

Prithvi Shaw looked pretty cool in his approach while Rahul never looked settled in his four-ball stay at the crease. He was beaten plumb in front of the wicket by Gabriel thus walking back to the hut with a golden duck in his kitty.

Adding insult to the injury, Rahul also took away the review with him despite looking plumb in front of the wicket. However, Lokesh Rahul missed a chance to cement his place in the Indian side.

Meanwhile, the other batsman, Prithvi Shaw showed his class by knocking the boundaries more often than not. In the meantime, the local boy Cheteshwar Pujara walks into the crease to replace KL Rahul in the middle.

As usual, the Indian fans showed their other side on the social media for the poor show by Rahul. All of a sudden things are going to be tricky for Rahul in the second innings of the game, as Mayank Agarwal is waiting on his toes in the dugout. All in all, another bad day at the office for KL Rahul.
