IPL 2018: Shikhar Dhawan Bought By Sunrisers Hyderabad

India opener Shikhar Dhawan who was the first player to go under the hammer at the ongoing auction, has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 5.2 crore. The southpaw was one of the 16 marquee players who have a base price of Rs 2 crore.

Kings XI Punjab had started the bid for the left-handed batsman before Rajasthan Royals entered the bidding war. The war kept on getting intense with Mumbai Indians also entering the race. The player was finally bought for Rs. 5.2 crore by Kings XI Punjab before Sunrisers Hyderabad used Right to Match card and bought him for the same value.
