Well, the runner-up in the previous edition of Indian Premier League, Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained most of their core unit. They are once again pretty smart in picking the players as per the requirements of their team unit. Meanwhile, we figured out Sunrisers Hyderabad likely playing XI for IPL 2019.

Here are they:

1. David Warner:

It would be an emotional return for David Warner when he takes his guard as the opening batsman for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The ball-tampering saga put him away from the team in the previous edition, however, he would like to make an immediate impact on the game with his impeccable skills. Besides that, Warner would also like to prove his skills in order to bag Australian contract for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.

2. Kane Williamson:

Kane Williamson is the certain player to take the non-striker role for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was in ominous form for SRH during IPL 2018, where he delivered the goods on a regular basis. Most probably, he will once again take the very same role for the team in absence of Shikhar Dhawan. It would be interesting to see how this new opening pair would do the job for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

3. Manish Pandey:

This time, most probably, their highest priced player Manish Pandey could take the number 3 role for the team. Last time, he was tried in various slots for the team but unfortunately couldn’t deliver the goods. However, this time, he would like to prove a point and also the golden chance to show his capability. Despite the poor show in IPL 2018, Hyderabad franchise kept their trust on him by retaining for the very same price.

4. Shakib Al Hasan:

The Bangladesh all-rounder could take the number 4 role for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has been their most valuable all-rounder in IPL 2018 and also in a great form of late. SRH would most probably like to use him both sections of the game, as he got the knack of taking away the game from the opposition with his unique skills. Most probably, he will be handing the middle-order department.

5. Vijay Shankar:

The young all-rounder from Tamil Nadu might get the nod in the middle-order department for SRH. Though he started pretty poorly in the previous edition for Delhi, in the latter part, he showed his worth as the player. He has been transferred into the team from Delhi as a replacement for Shikhar Dhawan. Most probably, he will be looking after middle-order and will also help in delivering few economical overs.

6. Yusuf Pathan:

Sunrisers Hyderabad would once again like to make use of the Pathan power. He will be taking the finisher role for the team and can also help with his off-spin if the pitch assists spinners. He can also be the floater for the team to make things interesting during the crucial junctures of the game.

7. Wriddhiman Saha:

The services of Wriddhiman Saha is a blessing for Hyderabad. He has such high-quality wicketkeeper skills, which are essential when you got a spinner like Rashid Khan in the side. Saha can bring the International experience to the side and can also help in the batting section. The smartest buy for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

8. Rashid Khan:

Rashid Khan will take the remaining one foreigner spot left in the team. He is a certain starter and doesn’t need any brief note of his incredible skills. Besides his bowling, Rashid Khan developed his bagging skills, which would help Hyderabad in close encounters. A great addition to the playing XI for SRH.

9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Well, no surprises, right? Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the most lethal and experienced bowler available in the ranks for SRH. He will be looking after the new ball and will also carry the onus of death bowling. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead the young bowling attack and can also help the side in a case of scoring some quick runs at the death.

10. Siddharth Kaul:

Without any further thoughts, Hyderabad would ask Siddharth Kaul to join Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He has got such a unique knuckle delivery to make things happen for his side. He was the wrecker-in-chief in the previous edition and would like to deliver the same in the upcoming edition as well.

11. Khaleel Ahmed:

The left-handed fast bowler has grown a lot in stature in the last one year. He is doing the trick for India at the highest level and most probably, he will be in the playing XI for SRH. Though there are Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi fighting for the place, the international experience would push SRH to go with Khaleel Ahmed
