New Zealand vs India 2020: 1st ODI, Hamilton – New Zealand’s Predicted Playing XI; After facing humiliating T20I series loss, now, it’s time to take revenge for the hosts against the Indian National Cricket Team in the 50-over format. All the experienced players are raring to go while the youngsters are looking to make things happen in the absence of the senior players.

The five-match T20I series has witnessed a tough fight from the youngsters. New Zealand would like to take the cue from the shorter format to make them useful in the upcoming three ODI games.

Meanwhile, we predicted New Zealand’s Predicted Playing XI for 1st Hamilton ODI:

The lanky batsman always enters into the game with a match-winner status but unfortunately, finds a way to get dismissed when his side wants him the most.

The flamboyant batsman would like to make a mark of his own in the upcoming three ODI games. He got starts in T20I series but failed to make it big.

2. Tom Blundell:

In absence of Colin Munro,Blundell will open the innings for New Zealand while Tom Latham moves down the order.

The flamboyant striker of the cricket ball had brilliant success at the opening slot and he would like to repeat the stuff for New Zealand again. This is a perfect opportunity for him to cement his place in the national team.

The stylish southpaw might take the position of Kane Williamson in the batting order. With Williamson being ruled out of the initial two ODI games, this will be a great chance for Henry to play up the order and make things fall in place. He always had a good record playing in home conditions.

New Zealand dearly missed the services of Neesham in the T20I series. The hosts can find finisher in Neesham and also a more than handy fast bowler in the middle and death overs respectively.

It will be interesting to see how he performs, as he returns after an injury layoff.

7. Colin de Grandhomme:

Much like Colin, the tricky left-arm spinner didn’t had the best of the series in shorter format.

However, ODI format is his best suit and he would like to deliver goods for the team. Santner is a pretty helpful batsman down the order and can turn the game with his bowling spells.

he right-handed fast bowler failed to deliver in T20 format but he would like to make the most of the upcoming three games.
