Former England opener Nick Compton has questioned the leadership skills of Virat Kohli. There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is currently the best batsman in the world. However, he stills needs to improve as a captain of the side. Compton said Kohli has the ability to get the better of himself. Albeit, former right-handed batsman Compton said one has to question whether Kohli can get the better of other players.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has led with aplomb and the team has done well under his captaincy tenure. Kohli is one of the best batsmen in the world and he has his own methods to lead the side. Virat Kohli likes to be aggressive in his captaincy and he is a captain who looks to take the bull by its horns.

Kohli still has some work to do as the captain of the side.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli can be too aggressive with his leadership. Furthermore, the constant chop and change in the team haven’t helped the players in performing consistently. The player’s place hasn’t been assured which has led to doubt in their minds.

Meanwhile, Nick Compton also hopes former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly becomes BCCI president. Ganguly is currently the chief of the CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) and he is also part of Cricket Advisory Committee.

Virat Kohli was rested from the recently concluded T20I series against the Windies. However, Kohli will return to action for the tour of Australia. India will play three T20Is, four Test matches and three One Day Internationals on the tour of Down Under.

Nick Compton took to his Twitter account to share his thought, however, he later went on to delete the tweet. The post read as, “I’ve said before Kohli gets the best out of himself but one has to question whether he gets the best of others? He is a great player of that, there is no doubt, his individual passion is a revelation. I hope Mr Ganguly becomes BCCI President”.
