Pakistan proved to be too good for Australia in the second Test match at Abu Dhabi. The hosts were able to win by a gargantuan margin of 373 runs, thus winning the match to take the series 1-0. Pakistan could not close out the first match as Australia had shown the resistance. However, the hosts didn’t leave any stone unturned in the second match as they once stamped their domination over depleted Australian side.

In fact, it was a one-way traffic throughout the two-match Test series. The hosts had also dominated the first Test match. The home side made 282 in the first innings of the second Test match. They were reeling at 77-5 after the first session. However, Sarfraz Ahmed and debutant Fakhar Zaman played a good knock of 94 each to keep their side in the hunt.

A clinical performance from Pakistan.

Subsequently, Pakistan was able to come up with a fine performance in their bowling innings. They were able to skittle out the visitors for a paltry score of 145 in the first dig. Thus, the hosts were able to put their noses in front.

Mohammad Abbas was once again amongst the wickets as the fast bowler continued to trouble the Aussie batsmen. Abbas scalped a five-wicket haul to put the tourists on the backfoot.
