India team-management, led by Sanjay Bangar, is reportedly unhappy with the kind of pitch being on offer for training ahead of the forthcoming third Test against South Africa. In fact, the Indian camp was so miffed with the tracks that it even asked the pitch curator to re-roll it.

According to Cricketnext, batting coach Sanjay Bangar made his displeasure known to head coach Ravi Shastri when he asked Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Umesh Yadav to bat a bit in the nets.

Bangar looked very unhappy with the practice wickets and immediately pointed it out to Shastri. Later, the India head coach inquired with the chief curator at Bullring Oval – Butuel Buthelezi asking him to roll the wickets again.

Buthelezi later had a small chat with Shastri as to what needs to be done to the wickets. The batting coach soon replied that all the three wickets should be rolled one by one.

Shasrti was then seen accompanying Virat Kohli as both assessed the pitch ahead of the third and final Test.

South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis had already made his displeasure known over the kind of pitches on offer in the first two Tests and had asked for a fast and bouncy track for the final Test.

Meanwhile, India will be looking to avoid a defeat in the third Test to finish the series on a solid note and avoid a whitewash. India have already lost the series after losing the first two games and will be looking to bounce back when the third Test gets underway on January 24.
