Smriti Mandhana In Awe Of Sanju Samson's 'Next Level Batting'

Smriti Mandhana, Team India’s swashbuckling opener, is in awe of Sanju Samson’s ‘next-level hitting’ in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.

Sanju Samson has been in outstanding form in Dream11 IPL 2020 thus far. The right-hander has also smashed back-to-back half-centuries in the tournament and his runs have come at an average of 79.50 and at a staggering strike-rate of 214.86.

Besides that, the Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman has already smoked 16 sixes in the tournament, the most by a batsman this year.

“The way young guys are batting is very inspirational to see. I think Sanju Samson, the way he is batting I have just become a huge fan of him. I have started supporting RR because of him. The way he is batting is crazy, next-level batting. I am thinking to learn from everyone who is batting and bowling well,” Smriti Mandhana told India Today.

During the interview, Smriti Mandhana was asked about his favorite IPL team, to which the stylish southpaw said that she does not support any particular team but a few individuals scattered around various franchises.

When asked about his favorite cricketers, Mandhana was quick to point out Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni.

“I am watching all the matches. I am quite biased with all the players and I have not got one team to support. I am not being diplomatic, I actually don’t have one team to support. I am supporting Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni,” Mandhana stated.
