Sydney Cricket Ground To Host The Bushfire Cricket Bash

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will host the Bushfire charity game. This game is an initiative by Cricket Australia (CA) to raise funds for the victims of the recent spread bushfire in Australia. This Bushfire Cricket Bash will feature a host of legends including Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting. The match will take place on February 08.
Ricky Ponting and Shane Warne will captain both the sides in the match. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and the West Indies great Courtney Walsh have been appointed as the coach of both the sides.
This game will be a curtain-raiser for the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20 final. The match will be a 10-overs-per-side contest, with a five-over Powerplay and no bowling restrictions whatsoever.

Cricket Australia (CA) has made it clear that the Bushfire charity game will be held in Sydney. The game will consist of Australian legendary cricketers. Apart from them, three foreign players have also affirmed their participation.
Brian Lara confirmed on Friday that he will also be a part of the match. Apart from him, Yuvraj Singh and former Pakistan pace spearhead, Wasim Akram is the other two foreign players to feature in the game.
The Bushfire Cricket Bash is a great initiative by Cricket Australia (CA) to unite the people with the sport. The game will feature legends including Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds and many more.
