Cricketing Fraternity Pour Wishes As Indian Wicket-Keeper Dinesh Karthik Turns 37 Today

Indian wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik turned 37 on Wednesday with former cricketers and teammates alike wishing the veteran, who recently made a comeback to the Indian squad.
Karthik was left out of the Indian team following their 2019 ODI World Cup semifinal loss against New Zealand. He was desperate to return to the setup once again and make an impression.
Fortunately for him, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) picked him up at the IPL 2022 mega auction and assigned him the role of a finisher. The right-hander made the most of it with impactful knocks stacked one after another.
RCB qualifier for the playoffs but crashed out after a defeat to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2. Nevertheless, Karthik’s performance didn’t go unnoticed and he was named in India’s squad for the 5-match T20I series against South Africa.
On the occasion of his birthday, RCB teammate Virat Kohli and former cricketers, Robin Uthappa and Harbhajan Singh also wished the 37-year-old.
