Virat Kohli has established himself as one of the greatest batsman the world has ever seen. And, he has achieved that through sheer, relentless pursuit of perfection, unmatched work ethic, supreme fitness and determination to be the best version of himself.

Indian Test batsman Hanuma Vihari recently opened up on Virat Kohli and the manner in which the Indian captain prepares himself before every game, revealing that he has tried to learn and integrate these qualities of Virat in his own game.

Hanuma Vihari is not the first cricketer to hail Virat for his incredible work ethics and the manner in which the Indian legend prepares himself before every game. Coming back to Hanuma Vihari, the Andhra batsman made his debut for Team India during the 2018 English tour and has since then established himself as a component of the Test team in overseas conditions. Vihari hasn’t got a chance in the white-ball formats but the right-hander believes that he has the game to succeed in all formats.

“I am ready to do anything for my team. I always tried to score runs, dig deep and play long innings whenever I play abroad. I always try to do my best so that team can’t drop me. I believe I have the ability to play all formats. So that’s good enough for me, this knowledge. Once I get right the opportunity, I can do it,” concluded the Test specialist.

Hanuma Vihari was a part of the Indian Test team that lost to New Zealand 0-2 before the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to the game.
