Virat Kohli’s insatiable hunger for runs and the relentless to improve with every passing game is awe-inspiring. Having made his international debut against Sri Lanka back in 2008, Kohli has managed to carve a niche for himself and is revered as one of the greatest to have ever played this beautiful game.

The onslaught of the global pandemic coronavirus has put the world under the lockdown. And so with so much of time on their hands, cricketers from around the world are engaging with their fellow mates via Instagram Live.

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson recently engaged with his Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate David Warner in a freewheeling chat on Instagram where the New Zealander hailed Virat for his hunger to dominate.

Williamson reckoned that there is so much to learn from Virat Kohli, even when they are playing against each other while also mentioning that India has set the bar so high.

“Kohli, in all formats, has a real hunger to dominate. He is so good to watch and play against, and to learn as well. He has set the bar so high,” Kane Williamson said on Virat Kohli.

Williamson was answering David Warne’s question as to who he thinks is the best batsman in the world in the current era. Apart from Virat, the former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain picked AB de Villiers, hailing him for his incredible skills while also mentioning him as a top guy off the field.

“It’s very hard to pinpoint one. Someone like AB — I know he only plays franchise cricket now, but in terms of gifted players, he is right up there. And a top guy as well. He’s one of the special players of our time. But (there are) so many quality players,”  Kane Williamson pointed.
