Over the years, fans all over the world have seen cricketers trying to sledge each other and have the better of the other. Cricketers tend to cross the line and get involved in a verbal spat with each other.
However, the ICC has always managed to keep a close eye on the players to make sure that the players play in the spirit of the game.
Most of the times the players play in the spirit of the game but sometimes the situation gets out of hands and the cricketers tend to lose their cool.
With franchise cricket growing in the past decade, the game has become such fast paced and the players give their 100 percent to match the expectations the fans.
Players who play for the same national also get involved in an ugly spat sometimes.
For example, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir getting involved in a fight during a match in the Indian Premier League while playing for their respective sides.
Similarly, a very popular spat occurred between Pakistani cricketers, Wahab Riaz and Ahmed Shehzad during a match in the Pakistan Super League.
However, both the players have now put the controversy behind and have moved on. In an interview, fast bowler Wahab Riaz opened up about the patch up between the two players.
Riaz said, “Neither did Ahmed apologized to me nor did I. What happened was that we were practicing at the nets during our preparations for the World Cup, where Ahmed was batting while I was bowling. There we started to communicate with each other, but we never discussed about the incident, so it was a good gesture as things like this happens when you play in the heat of the moment,
The new season of the PSL is scheduled to begin from February 22 in Dubai, with the opening match between defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and PSL latest franchise Multan Sultans.
