Watch: Angry Rohit Sharma Abuses Rishabh Pant In Hindi After Latter's Mistake On Field

Unlike his teammate and captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma does not really show emotion on field. The India batting star likes to keep things as less animated as possible. But on some occasions, he has been seen letting his emotions get the better of him and Wednesday was one such day when India were taking on West Indies in the do-or-die second ODI in Vizag.

India had lost the first ODI by eight wickets and needed to win the second game at all cost to keep the three-match series alive. And India did their task in style as they dismantled the visitors by 107 runs to draw level in the series. Asked to bat first, India piled up a mammoth total of 387 for 5 thanks to centuries from Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Both the openers led the platform for the big total by adding 227 runs for the first wicket. Rohit scored 159 while Rahul scored 102. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant then played quick knocks to help India finish the proceedings on a strong note. In reply, West Indies were all out for 280 in the 44th over with Kuldeep Yadav taking a hat-trick.

Rohit Sharma angry on Pant:

Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, could not control his emotion on one occasion during the match when his younger teammate Rishabh Pant made an error in judgement. The game was finely poised when Pant left Rohit Sharma frustrated by throwing the ball to the non-striker’s end, instead of his end.

It all happened in the 33rd over of the second innings bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. India got a golden chance to run-out Jason Holder, who formed a decent partnership with opener Shai Hope. However, the Indian wicketkeeper messed up the opportunity by throwing the ball back to the bowler instead of throwing it to Rohit.

Angry with the turn of events, Rohit could not keep his emotions under check and used some cuss words for Pant. The words were picked up by stump mic.

“Are idhar de na..wo..bhe*ch** aadhe raste pe hai yaar,” Rohit was heard saying to Pant.
