India’s women southpaw opener Smriti Mandhana has signed a deal with Hobard Hurricanes. Meanwhile, Mandhana had played for Brisbane Heat in the previous season of the league. On the other hand, Harmanpreet Kaur had signed a two-year-old deal with her franchise, Sydney Thunder ahead of 2017 season. India’s T20I skipper will come back for her third season with the team.

Meanwhile, the flamboyant left-hander will play alongside her Western Storm skipper Heather Knight, who will also play for Hurricanes. In fact, Smriti Mandhana is the third highest run-getter in 2018.

Mandhana is excited to get another shot at WBBL.

Furthermore, the India T20I deputy had a sublime season in Women’s Cricket Super League in England as she was highest run-scorer with 421 runs in nine innings. Thus, she was the Player of the tournament as her strike rate was 174.68 and she also struck 21 maximums. Therefore, Indian opener will look to carry her same form.
