"Kohli, Bumrah and Jadeja are..." - Iceland Cricket trolls Joe Root and England for their golf routines ahead of 3rd IND vs ENG Test

Iceland Cricket trolled the England Cricket team and Joe Root in a tweet where they asked them to cancel their ‘tee times’ at golf courses and prepare for the third Test with the belief that they can win the series in India as the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are expected to miss the third Test. A ‘tee time’ is a reservation at a golf course to start a round of golf at a specific time The term refers to the designated location on the course where players must be to start their rounds. 

India won the second Test in Vizag without the services of Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Ravindra Jadeja as Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc in Vizag taking nine wickets in the match which included a six-fer in the first innings. However, there are speculations that Jasprit Bumrah might miss the third Test match against England and then it will be a massive miss for India as Virat Kohli has already made himself unavailable and Ravindra Jadeja suffered a hamstring injury in the first Test.

Iceland cricket made a hilarious tweet on their ‘X’ account urging the ‘Bazballers’ of England to cancel their tee times and focus on the Test series with the belief of winning. They also took a dig at Joe Root saying that he might be seen playing a defensive shot. Recently, Michael Vaughan urged Joe Root to play like his former self and forget Bazball as England needs him to be the calming influence in the team.

“If Kohli, Bumrah and Jadeja are all out for the Third Test, we’d advise the Bazballers to cancel any tee times at the golf courses and start believing that winning the series in India is a distinct possibility! Even Joe Root might be seen playing a defensive shot,” Iceland Cricket tweeted on their ‘X’ account.
