CSK vs MI: Chennai Super Kings’ Predicted Playing XI Against Mumbai Indians.

Chennai Super Kings take on Mumbai Indians in a must-win match at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, May 12. A loss for CSK will get them eliminated from the tournament. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have already been eliminated from the tournament.

CSK won their previous game against Delhi Capitals by 91 runs. Since MS Dhoni has taken up the captaincy, CSK has looked like a different outfit, one which is more confident and can turn things around on the field. They have lost seven games in the season so far and one assumes that the wins came a bit late in the season.

However, as things stand, they are still in with a chance and need to win all their remaining games. In this article, we take a look at CSK’s probable playing XI for their game against Mumbai Indians.

Rayudu will bat at number four. The experienced batter has played a few crucial knocks for CSK throughout the season. Against MI, his former club, he needs to be at his best.

Shivam Dube

Dube has been in and out of the side after the first few games. However, in a big game against MI, the management will back him to come good. He needs to share the responsibility of finishing the innings with skippers MS Dhoni and Jadeja.

Simarjeet Singh picked up 2 for 27 in the game against Delhi Capitals. He should be given another go. If CSK should make a tactical change, they can bring in either KM Asif or Tushar Deshpande.
