Sherfane Rutherford went unsold during IPL 2023 auction. Sherfane Rutherford had set a base price of Rs. 1.5 crores for himself in IPL 2023 auction.

Sherfane Rutherford is a West Indies player. He is a batting all-rounder who bats left-handed but bowls right-arm medium pace. He is 24 years old currently. He has also played a few games for the West Indies national cricket team and in the Indian Premier League.

Sherfane Rutherford was a member of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022. He played 3 games for the team during the season and piled up 33 runs with a top knock of unbeaten 28 runs in one match. The franchise released him from the squad ahead of IPL 2023 auction.

The Caribbean all-rounder also played in IPL 2019, when he represented Delhi Capitals franchise. During the season, he played 7 games for the team and scored 73 runs at a strike rate of 135+ and picked 1 wicket. Overall, Rutherford has played 10 games in IPL and hit 106 runs.
