Royal Challengers Bangalore succumbed to their first loss in the season against CSK in their previous game and they will be up against the mighty Delhi Capitals in their next encounter. RCB’s manner of loss to CSK did not look good and they will now be pondering over their team selection.

Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa have left the RCB squad citing the Covid issues and it will be a major blow to the plans of the franchise moving forward. They still have the likes of Daniel Sams and Finn Allen in the wings but the Indian players need to step up for the franchise. Glenn Maxwell and Padikkal have been the top performers so far and here are 3 stars from Royal Challengers Bangalore who will be game-changers against Delhi Capitals.

IPL 2021: 3 Stars From Royal Challengers Bangalore Who Will Be Game Changers:

Devdutt Padikkal:

Devdutt Padikkal has been consistent so far for the RCB franchise and he will pose a major threat for the Delhi Capitals. The elegant left-hander scored a marvellous century in the game against Rajasthan Royals and guided his home in a big partnership alongside Virat Kohli.

Padikkal has played four games so far in the tournament and has scored 171 runs. He has been giving excellent starts at the top for the RCB and the likes of Maxwell and AB Devilliers have taken advantage of the starts.

He has shown all the shots in the book and was unfortunate to be dismissed for 34 off just 15 deliveries with two sixes and four fours. He will be a game-changer for the Royal Challengers Bangalore if he stays long in the crease.

Glenn Maxwell:

Maxwell has been the star of the show for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and he is also the top scorer for RCB in this edition in the five games. He has scored 198 runs in five games and is placed sixth in the race for the orange cap. He has offered a lot with the bat and in the field for the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise.

The key to Maxwell’s game has been the way he has been playing the spinners in an unorthodox fashion. He has hit reverse sweeps and has gone over the extra covers to pick up the gaps in the field. He can be very dangerous if he starts getting into his act and RCB will rely a lot on him to deliver in the upcoming matches. He can be the game-changer for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a tough clash against the Delhi Capitals.

Kyle Jamieson:

The New Zealand quick was bought for a big price amount and he must ensure that he gets wickets at the top. Jamieson has failed to pick up early wickets which have been a major area of concern for the RCB this year and the tall speedster needs to pull up his socks to have a better impact in the game. He has all the goods to deliver and needs to make sure that they are effective enough.

Jamieson is a big hitter in the back end of the innings and is an excellent fielder too. However, he hasn’t made it count yet with a brilliant spell of bowling or a match-changing knock with the bat.

He went for 31 runs in his three overs in the previous game against CSK and scored 16 runs off 13 balls with the bat when the game was already done and dusted. He will be a game-changer if he can attack the stumps a lot more and bowl at the right lengths.
