In India’s 4-wicket loss against Australia at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh on Tuesday, September 20, Suryakumar Yadav smashed 46 runs off 25 balls, including 2 fours and 4 sixes, before being dismissed by Cameron Green in the 14th over.
Star India middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav now has 780 rating points and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, who dropped to the 4th spot, has 771 rating points.
The ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings is led by Pakistan National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who has 825 rating points, and South Africa National Cricket Team batter Aiden Markram is at the No.2 position with 792 rating points in his bag.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, who smashed 71 runs off 30 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes, in the first T20I against Australia, rocketed up 22 places to 65th overall in the batter rankings.
Josh Hazlewood Retains No.1 Spot In The ICC Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings
Star Australia National Cricket Team right-arm pacer Josh Hazlewood has retained his No.1 spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings. In the high-scoring first T20I against India, the right-arm pacer bagged key wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.
South Africa National Cricket Team left-arm wrist spinner Tabraiz Shamsi is at the No.2 spot and England National Cricket Team leg-spinner Adil Rashid is at the No.3 spot.
Meanwhile, India National Cricket Team left-arm spinner Axar Patel, who picked wickets of Aaron Finch, Cameron Green and Josh Inglis, bowled brilliantly in the game against Australia and ended his spell with figures of 4-0-17-3. He has jumped 24 spots to 33rd on the list for bowlers. Also, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has moved up four spots to 21st and Mohammad Nawaz has jumped three places to 31st.
