Delhi Capitals lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the only game both sides played against each other this season. As it turned out, it was RCB who pipped Delhi Capitals to fourth on the points table and made it to the playoffs.

Delhi Capitals lost to Mumbai Indians in their final league game allowing RCB to get through to the playoffs. Bangalore made it to the playoffs the second time on the bounce but could not make it to the final since 2016.

RCB has always been a side that has packed its side with big hitters. Powell fits into that big-hitter category and Bangalore should have their eyes on him for the next season. He played a few good cameos last season hitting as many as 16 sixes season.

Kuldeep Yadav

Rishabh Pant brought the best out of Kuldeep Yadav for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022. He ended the season with 21 wickets. With RCB looking for a good Indian spinner to replace Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav can be their next best bet. He is a quality spinner and can play even in the Indian T20I and ODI sides.

Mustafizur Rahman

RCB played Josh Hazlewood in most of the games last season. Ahead of the season, Royal Challengers Bangalore can look to rope in Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman as a backup for Hazlewood. He is one of the highest wicket-taker in the format and can play in any T20I side given his quality as a T20 bowler.
