Yasir Shah certainly is one of the best leg spinners going around in the test format at the moment and he is fifth on the list of bowlers who have picked up the most wickets against the fab four.

India and Pakistan haven’t played a test for a long time now and hence, Yasir Shah has picked up the likes of Kane Willamson, Steve Smith, and Joe Root, 15 times in test cricket. The 35-year-old holds the record for the fastest to 200 wickets in the longer format after equalling the fastest to 100 wickets for all time in test cricket.

Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the masters of spin bowling in the longer format and his numbers are impeccable. He is almost unplayable in home conditions where he can get the ball to turn as well as he can bowl the one that goes straight.

Ashwin has a match-winning ability and he likes the challenge against the fab four always. He managed to trouble Steve Smith, Joe Root, and Kane Williamson whenever he has played a test against them and has 16 wickets against them. The 34-year-old is expected to finish among the all-time greatest bowlers from India in test cricket going past the likes of Harbhajan Singh.

Nathan Lyon is one of the most underrated spinners going around in world cricket who has been playing an excellent role for Australia as the lead spinner in the team. He bowls those long spells in the flat wickets and doesn’t bowl many loose deliveries to get hammered too.

The off-spinner is equal third in the list of bowlers with the most wickets against the fab four and he has combinedly picked up Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, and Joe Root 17 times in the test format which is extraordinary considering that he hasn’t been bowling in spin-friendly conditions.

Stuart Broad:

Stuart Broad is undoubted, one of the best seam bowlers in the current generation in test cricket especially, and he is very tough to face in the English conditions when the ball starts to seam around. The right-arm fast bowler has a delivery that works like a fast leg spinner and it has grabbed him a lot of wickets.

Broad has been very good against the fab four and has combinedly picked up 17 wickets against Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, and Kane Williamson which equals the third-most number of wickets against fab four among the bowlers.

Anderson is the best test seamer among the active cricketers and he has troubled even the best of the best batsmen in world cricket with his outswingers, inswingers, and even with the straighter ones. He holds the record for the most wickets by a fast bowler in Test cricket for all time.
