Chennai Super Kings might suffer a big injury blow as their star pacer Matheesha Pathirana had to walk off the field during the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday (April 28).

The Sri Lanka star did not face any difficulty in bowling in his first over as he made an instant impact. He conceded eight runs and clean bowled a well-set Aiden Markram for 32 runs with an absolute beauty. Matheesha Pathirana made a huge impact in his second over as well by dismissing the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen in the 16th over to put CSK in the driver's seat.

However, he did not look comfortable while running in the second over. Soon after the over ended, the physio came out on the field to check the pacer before the latter decided to walk off the field. He did not take any further part in the remainder of the game.
