High-flying Rajasthan Royals are locking horns against Lucknow Super Giants in the 44th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). The game is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

It is the second meeting between the two sides and LSG will be desperate to avenge their loss in the previous meeting. LSG started their campaign with a loss against RR although they quickly bounced back and are currently placed at the fourth spot in the points table.

LSG have come into this game after defeating defending champions Chennai Super Kings twice in a row and will be looking to make the most of the momentum. RR, on the other hand, are currently at the top of the points table with seven wins from eight games and are all but assured of a playoffs spot. RR will be looking to make the most of their form against LSG.

Confusion at the toss:

Toss has been garnering attention for all the wrong reasons this season and it could become a big talking point again due to the incident that took place during the toss for the LSG versus RR game.

While the broadcasters made sure to focus on the coin to ensure that everyone got to see the outcome, there was a lot of confusion over the winner. As soon as the coin landed on the ground, KL Rahul walked towards Ian Bishop, seemingly assuming that he had won the toss.

However, he was soon told that Sanju Samson had made the right call and a confused KL Rahul had to walk back. Before walking back to his position, Rahul was also seen asking Samson about his call to clear the confusion.
