Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s leg-spinner, is looking forward to regaining his form in the next ODI series against the West Indies.

Shadab is looking forward to competing in the 50-overs events, which begin on Wednesday, June 8 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, after participating in four matches for Yorkshire in the T20 Blast and taking only one wicket.

The One-Day Internationals were originally slated for December 2021 but were delayed due to the outbreak of Covid illnesses in the West Indies squad. Games will be essential, according to Shadab, because World Cup Super League points will be on the line.

Last year, Shadab was instrumental in Pakistan’s 3-0 T20I victory over the Caribbean side. After scoring a quick-fire 12-ball 28 and finishing with an economy rate of 5.50 in his quota of four overs, he was named Player of the Match in the second T20I.

‘We will continue the Australia series momentum’: Shadab Khan

“It’s a different mindset to perform for your nation, which makes getting back to this changing room much more fascinating,” Shadab told PCB digital.

“The new series is very important to me because I haven’t played much international or domestic cricket lately, and I’m making a comeback after a concussion.” Another possible explanation why this series is significant is that we are attempting to play it in our nation and Multan,” he explained.

“I’m going to look forward to that well enough for my squad because these three ODIs are very essential for Super League points.” “I am confident that fans will see a good series, and we will keep going the Australia series momentum,” Shadab added.

Shadab Khan last appeared for Pakistan in a three-match Twenty20 International series against the West Indies in December 2021.
