Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a tight schedule for the five-match T20 International series and three-match ODI series against Ireland starting from this month. Zimbabwe missed out on getting into the T20 World Cup 2021 qualifiers despite being a Test-playing nation and they will have to improve their rankings ahead of the next T20 World Cup.

They will also have a chance to better their position in the ICC World Super League table for the automatic qualifiers of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Zimbabwe is currently at the last position in the World Super-league table which they will be looking at to improve with the series against Ireland.
