Another Arrest Made During India vs Australia 2017 Series

Two fraudsters by the name of Ravindra Mimrot (24), and Dhiraj Sarwan (23) have been identified by the SP of  Crime Branch, Amarandra Singh, as he was quoted by India Today. These two individuals are accused of selling fraud tickets of the third ODI international between India and Australia at Holkar stadium in Indore.

Police have seized nine fake tickets from these men, though they printed 40 fake tickets, the official was quoted and the fraudsters have already sold 31 tickets for 40,000 rupees.

Meanwhile, India managed to beat Australia by five wickets in Indore at Holkar stadium to take an unassailable lead of 3-0. The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first on a good batting track and were once in a position to post a target in excess of 300, but Indian bowlers came back well and were able to restrict the Australian side for a below-par total of 293.

Indian opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane set the stage for the hosts to clinch the series with an amazing 100-run stand between them and it was Hardik Pandya in the end who finished off the series win for India, taking the Men in Blue on top of the ICC ODI rankings.
