Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has blown hot and cold in the Border-Gavaskar Test series. The talented batsman managed to score 107 runs in the four innings including a half-century as India registered their historic series-win. Rohit Sharma had returned to India after the conclusion of the third Test to be with his wife and daughter. He later joined the team after the fourth Test, along with the other members of the limited-overs team – MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, and others.
Ahead of Saturday’s encounter, Rohit Sharma attended a press conference after they had to train at the indoor of the Sydney Cricket Ground. At the press conference on Thursday, Indian journalist Sunandan Lele won many hearts as he handed a toy to the new ‘daddy’, Rohit Sharma on behalf of all media persons.
Lele gave a small toy to Rohit – who recently became a father of a baby girl last week. Rohit was quite elated with the present and also thanked the journalists present over there.

In a bid to do that, the visiting started their preparations from Thursday. But rain played spoilsport as Team India players had to practice indoors at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
