Cricket Fraternity Send Birthday Greetings to Shikhar Dhawan

The Gabbar of Indian cricket, Shikhar Dhawan turned 33 on Wednesday, and the whole cricket fraternity couldn’t stop themselves from sending their funky birthday wishes. Perhaps, there can be no individual in the game of cricket as Bindass as Shikhar Dhawan approaches the game. He has got a cool attitude, which certainly gives enough positivity to the dressing room.

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan had made his way to the international cricket with a bang. He tallied many runs in the domestic cricket and then took Indian Premier League by a storm. His incredible performances helped him get the place in ODI side.

Later, he went on to make his debut in the Test format, where he smashed numerous records in his kitty. He was the first Indian to score a century before lunch on the first day of a Test as well.

However, his form took the u-turn in 2012 season, where he was standing on the thick ice. But, the incredible ICC Champions Trophy 2013 had worked like magic for him to boost his scoring rate for team India. Coming to the wishes, Sachin Tendulkar tweeted,

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan thanked all the well-wishers with a video message.

”Thank you so much, everyone, for your wishes. I am certainly overwhelmed with the love I am receiving. Can’t ask for anything better on my birthday.”

All in all, it was a roller-coaster ride which settled now for Shikhar Dhawan in his limited-overs career. As far as his Test career is concerned, he is still trying to cement his place.
