From making his debut for India U-19 against Sri Lanka in a youth Test to taking a wicket in his very first over of the match, Arjun Tendulkar is going through an exciting time.

Meanwhile, Arjun Tendulkar bowled in the nets, as the India team prepared for the second Test. However, on Friday, he turned out to be a groundsman to clean the outfield at Lord’s.

The 18-year-old, Arjun Tendulkar was very much part of the groundsmen that worked hard all day at Lord’s.

I spoke to him in the morning and asked him what is he doing here? Arjun told me that as part of Lord’s management contract with Middlesex Tendulkar Cricket Academy, he had to serve the day as a groundsman,” India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh told TOI.

Arjun Tendulkar! Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our Groundstaff!” they tweeted.

India in deep trouble at Lord’s

James Anderson put England on the driver seat with a five-wicket haul in the second Test against India at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. He returned with five wickets, as they bowled out India for a mere 107 in a rain-marred day.

They brought in Cheteshwar Pujara; however, things didn’t change much in their favour. The visitors lost their first wicket in the first over itself, as Anderson cut Murali Vijay into two halves to castle his stumps. KL Rahul, opening in this game soon became another victim of Anderson’s.

All hopes were pinned on India skipper Virat Kohli, but he failed to deliver this time despite getting a chance. It led the floodgates open, and England bowlers rolled all over it at Lord’s. Along with Anderson, Chris Woakes contribute with two while Stuart Broad and Sam Curran chipped in with one each.
