Eoin Morgan Reveals Secrets From The England Dressing Room

Eoin Morgan scripted history when he led England to their first World Cup title in July beating New Zealand in the final by Super Over boundary count. Besides, he along with former coach Trevor Bayliss has been the stakeholders to change the face of English cricket forever.

Since their ouster from the group stages of the 2015 ICC World Cup, England have played a different brand of cricket altogether. They have held onto more or less the same time and have aggressive with the skipper and the management backing the players even in failures.

The hardwork resulted in a World Cup title a few months back. Also, the whole summer has gone good for the England side. They backed the World Cup title with a one-off Test series against Ireland before going up against Australia in the Ashes. Although they failed to regain the Ashes, England managed to finish the series in a 2-2 draw.

The 33-year-old Eoin Morgan, who recently confirmed that he will continue to lead England in the limited-overs revealed some of the dressing room secrets. In an exclusive chat with GiveMeSport. He spoke about his teammates and also revealed Jofra Archer as the scariest bowler.

Morgan also mentioned that he doesn’t face the Barbados-born fast bowler in the nets during practice sessions. The southpaw also spilt beans on the worst and best footballers in the current set-up. England is a football-loved country and their Premier League is one of the well-known leagues around the world.

“This is very controversial because everyone loves their football.” He then added that Tom Curran is the worst of them and if Sam, his all-rounder cricketer brother is in the team, then it is the latter. “If I was Sam I wouldn’t know whether to wear two right or two left shoes. Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler are very good and it’s evident, in a bang average game of football they’re better than anybody else,” he concluded.
