Windies had a start-stop beginning to their ICC World Cup 2019 campaign. They defeated Pakistan in their opening only to go down fighting against Australia. The team from the Caribbean will look to bounce back when they go up against South Africa on June 10 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

Windies aim to capitalise on Proteas’ low confidence

Despite losing the last game against the defending champions, Windies had put a great effort. Jason Holder & Co will look to draw confidence from the fighting effort as they gear up to face the Proteas who have lost three straight games to commence their World Cup. The management is likely to stick to their playing XI who have looked promising in the last two games and hope that they will deliver the goods against South Africa.
