India will like to continue with their domination on the home pitches against the Windies. The number one side will square off with the number eight in the ICC Test rankings. India has ticked the right boxes while playing in their own conditions and would like to repeat their performances. However, there are areas of concern which the Indian team will like to find answers for.

One of them at the top of their team’s rendezvous would the batting. The Indian batting line-up had failed to deliver the goods in the England conditions and was considered as the main villain for India’s loss. Thus, Indian batsmen will like to add some confidence to their bag. Indian batsmen will like to get back into the form before the Australian tour.

Meanwhile, Windies will have their work cut out against the Indian juggernauts. However, they need to pull up their socks and bring their best to the table. Jason Holder will know that his team will need to play out of their skin to challenge the mighty Indian team in their own conditions.

However, it is crucial for the Windies to keep a positive frame of mind before they hit the ground at Rajkot.

India has already confirmed their playing XI combination. Prithvi Shaw is going to make his debut and it would be a perfect chance for the young lad to show what he can bring to the table. He has a dream journey thus far and he is going to learn a lot after making his Test debut.
