India vs Windies 2018: Rohit Sharma Pokes Fun at Khaleel Ahmed

The major positive for team India in the recent past has been the emergence of Khaleel Ahmed. The southpaw has grabbed all the eyeballs in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2018 and then the performance in the Windies series has given him the ticket to Australia. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma makes a funny comment on his tight hug.

Though the first two games, which he played against the Windies haven’t gone down well, Khaleel Ahmed made a stunning comeback when he bowled a firing spell in Mumbai. It furtherly poured fuel on the expectations on him as well.

He followed it up with a decent performance in the final ODI of the series to cement his place in the playing XI for the series against Australia. His performance against the Australians will answer a lot of remaining questions as well.

Meanwhile, the vice-captain of India makes fun of his junior by adding a picture of him. It displayed Khaleel Ahmed giving a tight hug to him and then the caption by Rohit Sharma read the youngster is pretty excited.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Everyone seems to be excited about this lad and he seems quite excited too ?” Meanwhile, his fans also wished the youngster all the best for the future games.

Brief Career of Khaleel Ahmed so far:

The youngster had first appeared in the scene when he bowled his heart out against the Hong Kong. Despite being stroked for runs with the new ball, he came back pretty strongly in his second spell of the game.

Then he hasn’t got any chance in the tournament but retained his place for the Windies series. He came up with a decent performance in the first ODI but got dropped for the 2nd ODI to bring in an extra spinner.

However, India once again asked him to play in 3rd ODI but hasn’t made any significant impact. But the 4th ODI has changed his graph, and the following 5th ODI has confirmed a lot of things for the youngster.
