Hyderabad pacer Mohammed Siraj received a call for the upcoming Test series against West Indies. However, Mohammed Siraj is just short of a few days to achieve his dreams. He is overwhelmed with the Test call, and he cant explain his feelings with words.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj is over cloud nine after getting his maiden call. The fast bowler had well for India A side against South Africa. He had scalped ten wickets in the match. Thus, Siraj was rewarded for his consistent performance in the domestic circuit.

Siraj is over cloud nine.

“Yes, I just can’t explain my joy. This is the biggest day of my career – getting selected for the Test match team is a thing which I have been chasing for the last one year,” Mohammed Siraj said while talking to Sportstar.

Moreover, Siraj had an excellent run with India A squad.

He also recently picked up two 10-plus wicket hauls against South Africa A and Australia A teams. Mohammed Siraj has also gained a lot of success from India bowling coach Bharat Arun.

“I should not sound talking big, but I was just hoping that my consistent performances would fetch me an opportunity to play Test too for I have been doing well in all the four-day games too,”  the 24-year-old fast bowler added.

In addition to that, Mohammed Siraj bagged 41 wickets in the last year’s Ranji Trophy.

“Yes, every time I have something to sort out or to look for moral support, I speak to Arun Sir and he has been a huge source of encouragement always,” Siraj said to Hyderabad coach, Arun.

Furthermore, he was sensational throughout the season. Siraj is playing as the backbone of the Hyderabad team in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy.

“I don’t think there is any big change in my bowling or attitude. Yes, the desire has always been to give off my best for whichever team I am playing for and I am glad that all the hard work is really paying off now,” Mohammed Siraj added.

“Well, there can be a no better joy for any athlete than to play in front of home crowd and I hope that will happen if I were to be picked for the second Test against West Indies in Hyderabad (from October 12),” Siraj concluded.

Mohammed Siraj will be looking for his debut in the whites for India and grab his chances. The first Test match will take from October 4 at Rajkot.
