Donald Trump, President of the United States of America (USA), is presently on his first-ever visit to India as an elected member. Trump visited Ahmedabad on Monday where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted him before heading to the newly-built Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad to address a massive crowd. While addressing the public, Trump came in the firing line for mispronouncing the names of Indian legends, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

And, among the several cricketers coming up with a jibe at the same, James Neesham sputtered a unique one.

The newly-constructed ground has become the largest in the world, eclipsing the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCA) in Australia. And while one of the most prominent figures in the world didn’t fail to acknowledge the likes of Tendulkar and Kohli, he couldn’t pronounce the name correctly.

He said their names as “Soo-chin and “Virot Kolee”.

Kiwi all-rounder, Jimmy Neesham, who is one of the most active cricketers in social media, wasn’t going to spare the President either.

And while Neesham didn’t mention anything directly, he uttered an indirect dig at him by saying: “Why hate someone for the pronunciation of names they’ve never heard before when there are so, so, so many better reasons to hate them?”

Kevin Pietersen comes down hard at the mispronunciation of names:

Former English batsman Kevin Pietersen slammed the 45th US President for saying Kohli’s and Tendulkar’s names incorrectly and asked him to perform some research before addressing a massive chunk of the crowd.

The Englishman also tagged Piers Morgan, asking his friend to double-check names before delivering public speeches.
