Rohit’s run of form caught the eye of one of the World Cricket’s best batsman Kumar Sangakkara, as he showered praises on India’s opening batsman.

Sangakkara who recently ended his first-class career in England. Took to Twitter to express his feelings on Rohit Sharma’s heroics with the bat.

“Rohit Sharma just keeps getting better and better. Graceful and devastating at the same time. Well Played.” Wrote Sangakkara.

India will now take on Australia in the T2o format, after which they will host New Zealand in the limited overs format and will then end the year and home season with Sri Lanka coming for a complete tour in which they will play three T20Is, three Tests and three ODIs.

Virat Kohli will be looking to finish off the home season on a high, as after this year India will be traveling to South Africa, England, and Australia, where the Indian team does not have a record to cheer for.
