Pakistan vs New Zealand 2018: 2nd Test, Dubai – Day 2 Review;  It was a stunning day for Pakistan in Test format of the game. The flamboyant Yasir Shah marked the day with a stunning eight-wicket haul to make things fall in place for Pakistan against the Kiwis in the second Test. Later, the visiting side was asked to follow-on.

Yasir Shah bagged 8/41:

Initially, the weather has welcomed both the teams on a poor note. It made the players wait in the dugout for a certain period to start the proceedings. The return to the field was completely working in favour of Pakistan.

Yasir Shah exploited the conditions beautifully to make it happen for Kiwis. First, he sent Ross Taylor and Nicholas in quick succession and then bagged the wicket of Ish Sodhi to pick a five-wicket haul.

Then, he went on to rattle the tail-ender to end Kiwis first innings for 90 runs on the board. The first innings of New Zealand lasted for only 14 overs, which is quite a feat for Pakistan. Hasin Ali bagged one wicket while Watling was run out.

Tom Latham, Ross Taylor fighting it out:

With a big tally on the board, without any second thoughts, Sarfraz Ahmed asked the visitors to follow-on the innings. Once again Yasir Shah was brilliant, who gave the initial breakthrough by knocking out Jeet Ravel.

Then, he accounted for the wicket of a big fish Kane Williamson. But, that was the end of the show from Yasir Shah on day two, as Ross Taylor and Tom Latham played with a lot of grit and determination to stable the things.
