Once again, a leg-spinner highlights the headline in the cricketing world. Of late, the game of cricket came across the scintillating efforts from the leg-spinners, and this time; it is the turn of Yasir Shah to make people awe. Meanwhile, the legendary personality, Shahid Afridi makes his time to laud the effort by Yasir Shah.

Shahid Afridi, in his tweet, quoted Yasir Shah is on the road to become the greatest spinner ever produced by Pakistan. Further, he added it was a dream day for the leg-spinner and hailed him as the champion.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Sensational bowling performance by Yasir Shah today! What a champion, a dream day for the leg-spinner. He’s on the road to becoming Pakistan’s greatest ever spin bowler.”

As it happened:

After the stunning knocks from Babar Azam and Haris Sohail, the day two has seen the late start to the game with rain making his way. But, what followed after the rain break is a magical stuff, which got an instant limelight across the globe.

After sending Ravel and Latham, Yasir Shah sent back Ross Taylor and Henry Nicholas for ducks to their name. Then, he dismantled the defence of Ish Sodhi to collect yet another five-wicket haul in his kitty.

It wasn’t the end, as he made the mockery of their tail-enders by knocking them out in a flash. His incredible spell saw the Kiwis being bundled out in a span of 14 overs and then started their follow-on as well. However, he finished with 8/41.

This time, they came out well, as they lost only two wickets in their innings by scoring 92 runs to their name. However, Yasir Shah was the name beside those two wickets in the second innings as well.
