After a horrendous ICC Women’s World Cup campaign in England, the Pakistan women’s cricket team is scheduled to feature in ODI and T20I series against Sri Lanka next month.

March 20 will be when the Sri Lankan and Pakistan’s cricket team lock horns with each other in an ODI fixture at the iconic Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. The action then shifts to the Colombo for the T20I series starting March 28.

Last time the two teams met each other was in England during the ICC Women’s World Cup last year. The Lankan lionesses emerged victorious by 15 runs in a thrilling finish.

Sri Lankans will face the Pakistani girls after their dismal tour to West Indies last October in 2017. The series turned out to be a complete whitewash across the T20Is, and ODIs.

The 3-ODI series will hold tremendous significance for both Sri Lanka and Pakistan to keep their hopes alive, by gaining points for the current 2017-2023 ICC Women’s Championship.

England Women’s team will face the Indian Women’s team on the 8th, 11th, and 14th of April at VCA Stadium at Nagpur. The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India announced the series last year in December, but could not decide the venue of the event.
