Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has urged the Indian people to stay at home and support the 21-day lockdown initiated by the Indian government from March 25 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic is now spreading widely in India. Consequently, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, initiated a 21-day lockdown from March 21. Many cricketers, including Indian captain, Virat Kohli has come out in support of the move.

Now, Ravindra Jadeja has also come vouching for the lockdown as he took to Instagram and shared the message through a run-out video.

Jadeja posted a video of himself running out Australia batsman Usman Khawaja during India’s tour Down Under in 2019 at the Adelaide Oval. In the second ODI, Khawaja was batting on 21 when he hit a Kuldeep Yadav delivery towards point. Jadeja moved quickly to his left, picked up the ball and threw it towards the non-striker’s end all in one motion.\

Jadeja urged his followers to stay indoors and safe during these tough times. Jadeja captioned the post, “Stay safe, stay at home. Runout matt hona. @foxcricket @cricketcomau”

Major Cricketing Events Come To A Hold After Coronavirus

Recently, the IPL 2020 was postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak. To the disappointment of the cricket fans, the India-South Africa ODI series has also been called off.

Apart from it, the Road Safety World Series has also been suspended. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) suffered the same fate as it was postponed just before the knockouts.
