Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan is a great find for the team. The young leg-spinner has delivered the goods for his team. The right-hander has scored two fifties on the England tour in the two innings he has played so far.

Shadab scored 52 off 85 balls in the first Test match at iconic Lord’s and took Pakistan total to 363 which helped them in strengthening their lead.

The leg-spinner Shadab also took two wickets in the first Test match.  The right-hander also contributed in the second Test match when Pakistan had their backs against the wall.

Shadab scored a fighting fifty on the first day of the second Test at Headingley – to take Pakistan’s total to 174.

At one stage, it looked like that the tourists will be skittled out for around 120. However, Shadab’s blistering 56 runs off just 52 balls helped the visitors in saving some pride.

Moreover, when Shadab was asked during the press conference that does he think he can be the next Steven Smith, the former had a big smile on his face owing to the comparison with the talismanic Australian.

The former Australian skipper Smith commenced his career as a part-time spinner.

Pakistan had taken a 1-0 lead in the two-Test match series after winning the first Test at Lord’s by nine wickets.

However, the visitors are behind the eight ball as they were bundled under 200 hundred, in the first innings of the second Test.

Furthermore, England is in a good position with 106 runs on the board after losing two wickets.

However, second day’s play hasn’t yet started as the rain gods have played a killjoy.
